Mainstream doesn't know Western Canada Select is only getting about 1/2 of the Brent price. Funny isn't it, western Canada exports oil at $65 and central Canada imports at $112?
Canada has a balance of trade deficit of $1.9 billion in November, 2012...so... 2 million barrels exported per day multiplied by $47 price differential by 30 days equals $2.8 billion, suddenly Canada has a balance of trade surplus of $.9 billion.
