Look it up. Unemployment was around 8% in December. And had been in a sharp decline for months before.

Those are the facts. What kind depression has 8% unemployment and a growing economy? It is generally agreed that WWII was what ended the Great Depression. But that is because the government started to prepare for the war and spending had gone up.
