The Chart below is AAPL in a two year timeframe. I am only looking at gap moves and what happens after AAPL gaps up or down over a two year period as well as two moving daily averages 50 and 200.

Simply put AAPL has a great history of sideways consolidation followed by a move up after a gap up or down.

Longer term considering that the 50 DMA has moved under the 200 DMA, I agree that the gap near $425 will be filled over time.
