If they were that important to Apple's bottom line, Mac Pros would have been updated long ago, and kept up-to-date with refreshes at least once a year.
By that logic the iMac would get updated every year and it went almost 18 months between significant updates if memory serves me.

The point was really that people weren't buying because they were waiting for something they expect to come or were told would come or were buying something else.

Personally I'm not a happy camper right now and hope these questionable moves at Apple have been a wake up call for Tim and team.

Would be really sad to see Apple go back down the path of Scully especially since there's no longer a Steve to come running back to the rescue.

Its Apples indifference to other parts of thier business that leaves them as a one product company and probably explains why they earn a lower PE. If they were really as smart as they all think they are, they would have a plan to double computer market share.
