Maybe another genius analysts will downgrade apple tomorrow and before long we all will be able to buy shares around the same price as Rimm. This entire sell off is bs and has been for quite some time

Great analysis Keith. It's a very compelling value play without the drop. The AH drop just makes it more intriguing. But near term, the trading opportunities are even more intriguing. I'll probably roll into some long leaps just on the valuation basis. But the real money is going to be made on the valuation push/pull from those with much higher cost basis to those wanting a decent dividend with growth opportunity.

There's just not a lot of risk in this thing here.

Only $40 billion of apple cash is available. The rest is stuck overseas - mostly useless except to throw at the supply chain. Apple is a one product company - iphone - which is becoming a commodity - like oil. A PE of 8 or 9 is more reasonable given the Apple business model. Given their guidance, their earnings next year seem at risk. So guess 40 - 44. I'd value apple at 400 - 440. Now there also has to be some question about the quality of management. The talking heads all rant about management depth. One has to wonder ?
