I see Pinky of "Pinky & the Brain" fame has arrived to spray the scene with his gems of dim 'witicisms , what team up with brummy .

About 3mos in rehab seems about right to explain his absence but back as bright as ever!

Here's an essay you will enjoy, peering past the veils of patriotism ,religion & nationalism which in the US (and everywhere there is man) is a many slpendored thing caught between the diverse faster moving urban populations & the static rural mindsets. They are mimicing the same righteous indignant mentality of the more stolid pagans they decry but are so much exactly alike

A little reminder for our ideology ,statistically challenged & forgetful obstructionist fools accusing Obama
of being a liberal socialist radical.

Oddly enough, the American Pledge of Allegiance was written by Francis Bellamy, a founding member, in 1889, of the Society of Christian Socialists, a group of Protestant ministers who asserted that "the teachings of Jesus Christ lead directly to some form or forms of socialism."

Forgetting that military spending & policing the world alone costs the US easily one trillion a year and the
equivilent for endless decades (and always a new enemy around the corner)

In the late 1980s, as Mikhail Gorbachev was steering the Soviet Union away from its rivalry with the West in a bid for a "new thinking" foreign policy, Georgiy Arbatov, director of the Soviet's Institute for U.S. and Canadian Studies, declared to the United States: "We will do the most horrible thing to you; we will leave you without an enemy." 21
