I agree and what I find really interesting is there is actually a mini-internet dot.com bubble as though people today were either too young or don't remember how badly the last one ended. I see internet dot coms that don't make money and have no real prospects for making money, but are growing in clicks, or eyes, or users...the same terms from the dot bomb era, and they are getting bid up! I think companies like Facebook, Zynga, Pandora, are classic dot bombs.

about the only time i find the VIX usefull is when it gets extreme to the upside. look at that chart. it spent three years in this range from 2004 on. not saying it is going to hapen again, but with big brother doing all they can to throw money at shit, it might just be the norm for awhile.

we start a market crash and never have an up day again !!!! LOL
