Arun, one of the central tenets of Islam is jihad. Jihad is not an artifact of the ideology espoused in the instruction book aka operations manual known as the Koran as in the collection of whatnot cobbled together in "the Bible" which Christians pick and choose among. Not all Moslems go along with Islam, but treat it as a conventional social norm not to be taken too seriously, but to be obeyed well enough to keep out of trouble personally [much like I have to comply with Helengrad's ideological strictures or they come to attack me]. I'm in favour of democracy but not as run by the Kleptocratic Suffocatocracy of Helengrad. So quoting some Bollywood star as "Moslem" is like calling me democratic and implying therefore that I agree with Helen Clark's manifestation of it.

You have perhaps not noticed, but jihad is quite a problem all over the world where the interface of Islamic Jihad ideology rubs up against regular humans. Even in India there has been plenty of violence. Salman Rushdie wrote a book and our Keralan friends said to be careful in Bombay [we were traveling north]. They meant that jihadists could well be violent. And they were.

Since you seem ill-informed about jihad, here's an easy link to read about the carnage: jihadwatch.com You will see if you click on it and read that they are not scraping the bottom of the barrel for material to include. There are wall to wall corpses.

Perhaps there is also a site buddhistwatch.com I'll check it. No, nothing there. Do you have good information on the carnage from Buddhists [not that I recommend their ideology - just for comparison]. in the name of Buddha? hinduwatch.com ... hmm, that's odd, not much there either.

Arun, not to distract you from your discussion with MW, but would you be willing to listen to this and provide an objective overview of the truth quotient of the output contained in this interview?
