You don't know when you are deceiving your self? Some are very talented at deceiving others into thinking they are something they are not....this isn't philosophy....words have meaning, actions speak louder than words. Yes, believing is quite a problem...for the church and government. When a scientist is paid to prove something...he will make the results pay his way no matter how he makes them prove his theories.
