Got a link to something that isn't a wingnut site about changing the past records? You cannot point at a region that is warmer than usual and say that is the same as the globe being warmer than usual. Sure, there is some ice accumulation at the south pole. That is expected because, unlike the Arctic, most of the ice is on the land. It is accumulating because the surrounding oceans are warming and there is more moisture in the atmosphere. Despite that, the West Antarctic ice sheet is losing ice at an accelerating rate. And that is likely to destabilize the rest. So you believe that this scam has been running for more than 4 decades and only a few bloggers on wingnut sites have been able to uncover it?
