IMO, ABTE's fair (full) value based on earnings estimates of $.34 for this year (ending 10/97) and $.54 ending in 10/98 would be around $17. However, including the estimate for 1999 of $.69, the fair will drop modestly to around 14.5. I am not familiar with this company or its management. However, if I were really concerned about maximizing shareholder value, I would not sell this company below $14. This is all contingent on the company meeting or exceeding the $.09 estimate for the most recent quarter. If I remember correctly they did not meet estimates last quarter. I may dabble in this one, a couple of hundred shares at 9.5 seems to be a good bet. Downside risk is to around 8 where the gap was created after yesterday's announcement.

Please correct me if I am wrong! Any comments?
