When I read your posts, it sounds like Apple needs to figure out how to enter China. I get no hint that they did $6.7 billion in the last quarter or that revenues grew 67% YoY.

Yes, Apple needs to get a China Mobile deal done. That isnt going to be easy simply because China Mobile (as well as NTT Docomo) have far more leverage in their home markets than just about any other carriers in the world. Apple can either compromise on their terms or attempt to undermine CM's share through China Unicom and China Telecom. A cheaper iPhone might be go a long way if that is the strategy.

Certainly, Apple's strategy seems to be working in Japan. NTT Docomo's comments are far more open to the iPhone than previously and I think that continually losing share to Softbank and KDDI is likely driving the change of heart.
