Why did Obama embrace Obamacare? Because it defuses the issue. Something I am sure you don't understand. Things are not fixed in time. The best way to respond to a challenge is embrace and extend. Yeah, I know. You like to think that you are the smartest guy in the room. And you are careful to surround yourself with people who reinforce that perception. The problem is, if you are actually the smartest guy in the room, you are a moron. You want to be the dumbest guy in the room so you can actually learn something. Ego is not a good motivator.
