“A creed is a statement of belief, in particular a statement of faith that describes the beliefs shared by a religious community. Religious creeds are not intended to be comprehensive, but to be a summary of core beliefs. The term "creed" can also refer to a person's political or social beliefs, or is sometimes used to mean religious affiliation.”

Atheism is a naked belief and does not qualify as a creed, in my opinion. But if you are merely wishing to state that my belief in the non-existence of God is a “creed”, then it does no harm provided you are aware that the belief carries no dogma but is a naked fact based on logic and reason.

I don't believe in any of the thousands of imaginary friends claimed by NIMS. Too hard for you to understand??
