Yes he was, but he was quite the quiet man, not one to make waves nor stand out, from what I remember.... Back to Orwell, I never read him, but he does seem to have it just about right. I try to look back and see if I was just naive or just not bright enuff, most likely the latter clearly overmatched the former. -vbg- And the story just doesn't get better... "It will be a real horror story and a warning for future generations (if there are any)."
