Ours is just foolishly ignoring the problem and the result will be that the US has a much harder fall. For the life of me I cannot understand the idiocy of the Left on these issues. I don't just mean you -- I know people of significant intelligence, too, who are just as blind as you are -- so it isn't just your stupidity. There is something far more pervasive than stupidity that is causing this behavior.
