Ted, Thank you for your info. I am watching this one to buy on "weakness". I am still not convinced the dip is over for this stock.

What are the chances of vocaltech getting bought out. In trying to find out more about vocaltech I came across the this article at
thestreet.com

It seems to me as competition heats up in Voice over IP that eventually the bigger companies with either

1. Create from within.
2. Aquire to get the knowledge.

Also, this may be a stupid question but I've seen worse comments before. When a company decides to invest in another company what exactly does that mean?

Is it solely to aquire stocks for investment purposes or do they get any other priveledges.

The following is a quote from an interview on 10/9/97 with TheStreet.com, Edward Kozel, chief technical officer for Cisco:

Companies that might fit Cisco's vocal needs:

Israel-based VocalTec's (VOCLF:Nasdaq) Internet Phone is a leading software product for making calls over the Internet. VocalTec is up 1 13/16 at 26.
Dialogic (DLGC:Nasdaq), a New Jersey company that has partnered with VocalTec on Internet phone applications, has done VOIP work on the hardware end. Dialogic is down 1/4 at 48 1/4.
Princeton-based Voxware (VOXW:Nasdaq) also sells a piece of Internet telephone software, TeleVox. Voxware is up 1/16 at 5 7/16
