Agree.. and back to the much debated def of hyper..etc US will not see what we currently define hyper by. German, African, Asian etc.. But a new standard of sorts, if you will. Net, net makes no diff what it is called.

US- The very heavy lifting is straight ahead..no doubt and will be a burden to current and future taxpayers, and might well by creditors.

My guess would be a protracted event of long duration where the fiscal issues are addressed and resolved w/ a lot of resistance.

Outliers are what they are.. and near impossible to manage to- but they are there.

1/4 way through Maudlin's latest book EndGame. He addresses the issue of debt, default, inflation at length and has some interesting suggestions...His opinions, of course.

As the eternal optimist, I work hard to make a better life for as many as I can.. So far, things have been getting better for us every year. Funny how the more you give the more you get...
