"IF Sandusky and his pederast friends were in a majority position and made pedophilia not only legal but also actively promoted it as a virtue, THEN Sandusky would be a hero like Solon, CORRECT?"

There is no way to relate one to the other. Pedophilia was never legal nor moral at any time in Greece. And Solon and Socrates are not heroes because of the mores of their culture but rather because of how they advanced civilization. In the case of Socrates--philosophy and the socratic method. In the case of Solon--the rule of law regardless of money and the beginning of democratic ideals. No universities teach the greatness of any Greeks because of their pederastic culture. This is your obsession--not the focus of history.

All the Greeks were pederasts. They were not all heroes and they did not all benefit and inform the human condition. Solon is not a great figure in history because of his poetry or because he lived in a pederastic culture. That you would not know this simply speaks to a psychological problem you obviously have...

Euripides is not a hero because he was a pederast but because he wrote some of the greatest plays in all of human history. Try to get past your stupidity. Get a brain.
