One big positive is that short interest has fallen from 27.5 Million on Oct. 31 to 19 Million on Jan. 15.

Part of the problem is that analysts keep lowering their estimates for 2013. Under 6% revenue growth.

FY eps estimates $1.29, $1.31 and $1.34 for this year through the next 2. Clearly they are saying no growth and no bottom line improvement for the next 2 years. Add in that they earned $1.76 in 2011.

Based on these "market facts", ie, the analysts estimates, we see why GLW's stock price isn't going anywhere fast. A change in forward guidance for the better will blow this current scenario out of the water.

It will be up to GLW to improve their underlying fundamentals AND improve the view of their future or this one isn't going anywhere.
