No, not today, there used to be lots of gators sitting at the water's edge just sunning themselves, but that was some years ago... since then, they've all been rounded up and taken out back to the everglades, although we've seen some in the canals since then... they come back despite the screens they install to stop them from returning... we have gators and crocodiles, the gators live in the fresh and brackish waters, the crocs live in the more salty waters closer to the ocean...
