bonds are toast after a 31 year run. money is rotating to stocks in my opinion and should continue to put a bid under stocks. broad indexes are all at or near all time or multi year highs. miners are in a two year downtrend and at 3 year lows...isnt that long enough to accumulate for Da Boyz? the $djgsp is now essentially at support from the hights of 2006 and 2007 (see link to chart below...it is profunds miner fund index). why no love for the miners? beats the hell out of me. money is flowing to every other sector i follow except the miners.

the real question is should the markets turn down in a significant way, why would the weakest kid on the block suddenly find love. from my experience, the weak ones continue to be weak or weaker when the market reverses. of course there are exceptions. so now you might wonder why i am long the miners. well, i think the broader indexes will be positive again this year and i am not expecting any significant pullbacks anytime soon. i keep giving the miners the benefit of the doubt that they will join the party. lets put it this way, if they dont make a stand in this area, i will probably move along and look for another entry. meanwhile as long as they dont drop much more AND the general market environment remains positive i shall dance with the devil.

taking out the highs from Tues last week and odds are good that the turn has been made
