I guess you don't believe in gaps being filled.

That is an entirely different statement from "gaps matter". Yes, most prices inside most gaps fill. However, it's not because they're inside a gap, it's because markets generally move through "all" prices.

For any given price point X.Y% away from the current price, the odds of the market trading through that price are exactly the same whether the price point is inside a gap, or not. This is easily demonstrated with all kinds of historical data one can pull from Yahoo and shove into a spreadsheet.

Gaps are irrelevant to determining future price movements.

AAPL will eventually fill the 425 gap. Count on it. The stock is now in a bear mkt. the gap will fill.
