Greed: is a corporate CEO that knowingly abuses his fellow human beings for profit,
this would be an example of what you think greed is, not it's definition. an accurate definition would cover all instances of greed. surely you see that this cannot be a definition.

even though he has more money than he could possible spend.
how much money he has is irrelevant to whether he's greedy or not. do you think someone should be excused from theft because he has little money?

In your case, no one is really harmed by his newspaper selfishness,
not physically harmed, but yes someone was harmed. the guy that took the newspaper was harmed. greed can cause harm that isn't seen. but harm isn't even the point. we are trying to define greed. you asked me for an example and i gave you one. i could give you thousands more. but they would only be examples, not a definition. and a definition is what i asked you for.

please don't give me anymore examples. i told you i would give you my definition after we explored yours. so i ask you again, will you give me a definition of greed that you believe can cover every possible example? a good definition covers everything the word is, and excludes everything that it's not.
