Absolutely agree with you. It is very unreasonable to short only on valuation.

clown - i cannot tell you how to trade. :)

if we knew exactly when the rate will come down, we will not be having this convo. they are veyr secretive about details on their clients. I could get whatever i could after looking at the presentastions and talking to some friends in the tech industry and then made my own assumptions from there. I never said to bet the farm on it - so yea, if the revenue growth does not slow down, it might go up.

besides, my trade is not a short term trade - so puts are not an option here because i don;t think anyone has written LEAPS on N. There is a reason why puts are expensive.

and as i said, limited float is a double edged sword. they cannot beat earnings because THEY HAVE NO EARNINGS.

I don;t know the story on CRM, so cannot comment on those who shorted it. But i can talk about N. But always appreciate your feedback. This is a calculated bet. If i short the stock, i will keep a very close eye on earnings for 2Q, 3Q and 4Q.
