Amazon has a big fundamental problem that will eventually cause them to sell off when the market discovers the problem. All their contracts treat the buyers much more favorably than their sellers even though the sellers are paying 12-16% in fees to Amazon. Amazon will run programs to send buyers to sellers listings in surges every 3-4 weeks and leaves them dry in between. They also make it very difficult for a seller to gain access to his customer data.

I have talked to many Amazon sellers who are unhappy and would dump Amazon as soon as a competitive offering is available. A new wave of competitors will be providing a better mouse trap than Amazon with plans to poach their customers, so I am avoiding the long side of Amazon stock.
