Republicans are dirty, too -- just not to the extent Dems are. Got anything like proof of that? During the Bush administration that certainly wasn't true. Both in number of events and the dollar amounts involved. And nothing that has happened sense has even vaguely been in the same category as what happened then.

The biggest diff is Republicans normally pay a price, resigning or being forced out of office. Democrats,. being the Criminal party, are accepted - sometimes even celebrated - by Democratic voters for their crimes. Democrats EXPECT their politicians to be crooks and cheaters and liars. Hell, if they want to drown a young woman, that's no problem either. If Weiner hadn't been such a sissy, he could have brazened it out and still be sitting in Congress.
