Hey Petz,
What's your take on AMD jacking up the voltages, and pretending to have their yield problems fixed!!

Speaking of deception. The Consumer protection agency should seriously look into AMD's products.

John,

Re: "Afraid of the future? ..."

I'm not afraid of the future ... future product (both Intel and AMD)
introduction dates and performance estimates can change. You felt that
you needed to "jump on" Joey when he was just stating the current facts.
Let's try and base our discussions on the facts, John ... make sense ??

Make It So,
Yousef

Petz , re. changing his name to "keep it so"
An even better suggestion :- "make it so-so"
Also I noticed a discussion a few days back on the merits of K5-166
I am not sure whether it was you or another contributor but
I would like to correct the statements made , the clock speed of 166mhz was only 116.7Mhz , it not only was faster than the Pentium 166
but according to PC World April '97 enjoyed a slight edge over a Pentium 200mhz in integer tests . Given those facts , Yousef can make it so-so,
regards , Brian
