I don't seem to be able to find any of those numerous studies. Perhaps you have a link or two? I didn't think so.

Like Virginia?

Practically every state does it, and Texas, which does it more than any other -- does have lower incomes than other states, but also has less unemployment.

So, if you're going to shoot off your mouth how about backing up your claims for a change?
