You said "studies". Not NYT articles.

As with Pubo, this may account for some of your ignorance.

News flash: NYT articles are NOT "studies". They are, for the most part, opinion pieces.

As a footnote, it is interesting that you're fine with the government funding of GM but have issues with anyone else getting such benefits.

Or is it just that this one was in a southern state? Couldn't be you just have some free-floating hatred for poor people in the South?

Did CNN Fire Soledad O’Brien Based on Race? (Update: Damage Control)

As CNN’s facelift continues, it has emerged that two of its most prominent anchors have been given disparate treatment. Soledad O’Brien, who hosts Starting Point in the mornings, has been sacked, while Piers Morgan, the assault gasbag who hosts CNN’s main primetime talk show, has been kept.

Morgan is white and speaks with a snooty accent that hides the fact that he seldom knows what he’s talking about. O’Brien is multiracial. Both are leftist partisans.

It’s the audiences that the hosts attract, that appear to have influenced O’Brien’s termination.

According to network staff:

Many staffers were stunned when Feder constantly complained that the viewership of “Early Start” and “Starting Point” was “too ethnic,” based on the high concentration of minority viewers. This common complaint worked itself up through the company, to CNN’s Diversity Committee, and to other staffers, who were mortified that a CNN executive was squabbling over attracting minority viewers.

Too ethnic?

What message is CNN sending to minorities here?

Update: CNN’s suits know they’ve stepped in it now.

To clarify, Feder’s issue with “Starting Point” was that the audience was too small and happened to be predominately African American. A source close to the show insists that the ethnicity of the audience was never the issue, it was the size. Feder in no way meant to imply that the audience was too ethnic.

Scottch Live your career by the ethnic sword, kill your career by the ethnic sword.

Hard to feel sorry for that windbag and good riddance!

Now if we could just get the British to take Morgan back…

.....

Lightwave I guarantee you among themselves, African-Americans are well aware there are plenty of pandering racists on the left. The problem is, they only see the white ones. O’Brien regularly was rude, combative, and awful to white guests on her show.

But if you point that out, well…guess what that makes you?
