It seems like we have been hitting this ball back and forth enough. Can anyone not see that computers are capable of totally changing the world we live in; the business world, the entertainment world, the retailing world, etc? And I say "capable" because it is an industry at its infancy. Yet, Microsoft is now the largest seller of encyclopedias in the world...and no one (except a few door to door salesmen) even noticed!

The hight tech industry has tremendous growth potential and can be expected to continue its earnings as items such as auto-remote vacuum cleaners, automated food delivery, or whatever new computer driven products are introduced.

The future is hardly as rosey for Coke. Yes, American food distributors are having a field-day with new markets in developing nations. But that bonus is quite temporary, and in time, KO must fall to a reasonable P/E level.

Yes the market will continue to toy with every company and every market sector. But in the months ahead, it just seems like common sense: Coke simply cannot continue to increase earnings like the technology stocks. That, as they say, is a "no-brainer".
