Hi Sonki: As I said to Margaret a while ago, I think its worth sticking with for a possible better rally, but I definately do not want to see this stock go below about 17 3/4. So far it has held above that and looks a bit better now. I think there are less risky stocks around for consideration as this stock has the feel that with or without a rally it is eventually headed for somewhere between 15 and 12. I looked at that Insider buying chart this am and checked out some of those stocks and they did'nt look too hot to me. Got burnt once believing in Insider buying and since them I won't bite unless technicals heavily support that action.

Hi again Sonki: Was in the middle of editing that reply to you when my system just blew out. Fortunately, restarted without any problems.

I was going to say that re my comments a few days ago, when a stock splits in a bear market, it's the Kiss of Death. Isn't that what essentially happened to Cabletron Systems?

In a curious way, BMC just effectivly suffered an involuntary 2 for 1 stock split, (in its own emerging bear market), so draw you're own conclusions. My Wizdom, gg, is to pass on this one. There are less dangerous looking ideas around, such as Action Perforance (ACTN), a few days ago..gg.

sonki: Purchase of Leaps in INTC, WLA & XLNX

I have picked up a bunch of LNLANs ( y2k calls 70) today @ 24/contract. Hope that INTC does not go below 70. I bought also some WLA shrs at 113 and Leaps LWLAA (105's) and also some XLNX leaps LXJAH 40's. When the market goes down I am tempted to average down in good companies. Any comments? Recently I bought some RMBS stock at $ 50 and sold some covered calls ( BNQAJ) when RMBS was at $60.

I have a question. Does it constitute a "wash sale" if I sell a higher srike option and buy a lower srike option of the same company on the same day? I am considering selling some LNLAU's and buy LNLAN's at the same time. Thanks
