Automobile interfaces have changed little since the invention of the steering wheel, gas pedal, and brake pedal. Not to say phones and computers are the same as cars, but once an interface is established its pretty difficult to displace it. How many times have we heard the desktop/folder metaphor on the computer will go away? Still solid as a rock.
