Hi Scott, I use TC2000 as my main charting/TA program. Actually, I use the TCpro version which gives you a full update of all stocks each day for the flat rate of $1.95/day, (though this rate is discounted depending on how much you deposit into your account). I have also been playing around with Parity, which can read TC2000 data. Pluses aboout TC2000: 1) Full datafeed that can also be used for a lot of other programs (tc2000 data is one of the standards) 2) Viewing charts in different time frames is really easy and quick. 3) Trendlines are really easy to draw (with the "trick") 4) It's really easy to set up 9 different screens that include TA info and flip through them using the function keys. 5) Data goes back 14 years, all included on the CD for tcpro. 6) you can create custom scans, though they are slow and somewhat limited. 7) watchlists let you organize stocks together Minuses: 1) Scans & updates are SLOW when you are trying to track more than say 1000 stocks. 2) Limited TA facilities -- has moving averages, limited stochastics, RSI, OBV, ROC...plus the proprietary BOP, moneystream, and TSV. You can have multiple TA studies on one screen but you only can see the vaue of one of them. 3) Limited scan capabilities I think TCpro is great for the amount of data you get, and basic charting is fast and easy. Scanning & in depth TA are it's weaknesses. You can try out the full version of TC2000 for free for 2 weeks I think; just call them up and they will send it right out to you. Let me know if you want the number. I think Quotes Plus might be a good program to look at for scans...Al uses it so maybe he might have some comments. and for TA, Parity plus is quite comprehensive but lacking in the user-friendly area. I'm curious as to what metastock is like. Hope this helps, let me know if you find out about any other programs, especially for scans and in depth TA! -dave
