Family time is the best thing in the world. The recent eight days back and forth across the country with
my oldest, and two dogs, will never be forgotten.

The youngest, the Spanish teacher is where I hear about it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first.
Being academically gifted did not help prepare her for a class full of kids where half could care less,
and contacting their parents is like talking to a wall.

Comments like, I don't do homework, and I don't plan to be the first in my family to graduate high school, drive her nuts.
She just can't comprehend it even though she has been at it seven years now.

She wants the ability to have each teacher allowed one slap a year. lol!

Even though she knows that for the most part, some are a lost cause, she tries. After the first test of a new semester,
she calls the parents of any kid who fails, trying to get some help from home.

Later she passes a mirror around the class and makes them all look into it, explaining that it is the person in
the mirror who has the ability to make the most difference in their life. Not mom or dad or anyone else.

I just laugh. It is the moments when she says thanks mom and dad for all you did for me, that make having kids worthwhile.

Dabum, Do you still do short term trading? I used to follow you on another thread a few years back. You were very good with charts and I saved quite a few of them.
