My brother was listening to that on the scanner as it happened.

There was a murder down the block from us last week, maybe the same night. Undoubtedly drug related; the guy who was killed was strung out on Rx opiates; my son had seen him at the store recently and said he looked to be in really, really bad condition.

Human life doesn't mean shit to these people.
