I didn't mean to imply that Einstein invented causality. He just used it as a basis, probably the principal basis of relativity. His thought experiment which explained that nothing could be faster than the speed of light was based on the conclusion that faster-than-light travel could lead to an effect happening before the cause in a certain frame of reference. That paradox was accepted as proof that nothing moved faster than the speed of light. The acceptance of relativity also included the acceptance of it's requirements. TP
