But isn't the real issue that there is much more certainty about the liabilities than there is about the revenue?
Our politicians will always pretend that future economic statistics are certain to be fabulous and then the actual headlines will talk about how the reality is "unexpectantly" worse.

Back to my original point... The Governor of Ca is skipping over your point and completly ignoring both sides of your equation.

The assumption is the golden goose that is the California taxpayer will always pony up to the table.

Speaking just for me... I voted no and left.

Rat just continues to posit that the emperor looks great.

Guess it doesn't matter as we, as a country, are in uncharted financial waters.... Unless you look at Europe and Japan.
