FWIW one of my larger long term silver share holdings AXU was up strongly yesterday. This has been a losing position for me for over a year now. They reported a good but anticipated increase in their resource estimate a couple of days ago, and I think the stock continues to be cheap relative to potential . This like most junior mines is speculative. I first took a position in it when it was $2 and SLW announced a deal to buy some of their future silver production. I subsequently took some profits at higher levels and then repurchased at higher levels than they are at now which is $4.60. the stock had dipped to $3.50 in the past month. I own enough of it that i wasnt adding more at any level. Price target by brokerage firms as the share price came down and production difficulties materialized dropped from $8.75 to $5.75. I have met geologists from the company probably for at least 5 years annually and they seem like a roll up their sleeves honest bunch so I continue to hold thru thick and thin hoping that they will work thru their production difficulties and eventually produce large amounts of silver from the ground profitably. I am not suggesting this as a value play just if you want to keep a portion of your portfolio in junior mining stocks I think this one is worth adding to your portfolio.

I am very much interested in reit and income ideas. at some point down the road my wife will stop working and we will need more income to support ourselves.
