<<Aaaarrr, the dreaded Sinatra load! :-)>> Gee, I was thinking Rick Deringer, guess thats what I get for thinking.

<<A friendly warning, Neighbor etc., etc.>> Alex, you have a certain wit that never goes out of style. Thanks for the chuckle.

RE: Names ending in "ia". Actually, I wasn't really thinking of the specific parents using their own names, but all the outrageous names, examples of which fail me, people choose to name their kids which sound like a combination of names and end in "ia". I knew of a family in which all the children had the same three initials- R.R.R.

I also got to wondering if girls are, or on the other hand why not, named the exact first and second name of the mother for several generations like first sons are named for their dads. I don't recall ever knowing any woman named in such a manner. I wonder why.

I have considered inviting a few people from time to time to the Flame thread, but come to think of it, why would I want to introduce my other personality. <VBG>

Hey, I spent part of this evening reading the Flame thread, seeing what all the fuss is about, and I thought it was hilarious. I hope no one around here takes themselves so seriously they can't have a good laugh at their own expense!

But mostly there is some very good writing over there, which is what a lot of people who post at SI really appreciate, so I really enjoyed reading those posts.

You mean the Feelies is NOT a skin disease? Wow, I've been wasting my time here . . . . . I thought I was investing in a biotech stock!!!!!

<Maybe one of us should go over there and put on a Van Driessen act (the unsinkably empathetic longhair from Beavis&Butt-Head)>

I could do either Beavis (The great Corn Holio) or Butt-Head..but don't have the "schtick" for Van Driessen....any volunteers?
