"You’re willing to try to offer me what you think of as evidence, if you’d like, but you’ll forgive me if I don’t hold my breath waiting to be converted. I’m open to hear it, but frankly, I don’t think it’s ever going to happen. " pretty ignorant of this guy since he doesn't have evidence either way, I won't hold my breath waiting for his evidence that there is no god

I wonder if this guy could convince him.

Two books now at or near the top of the New York Times bestseller list are about NDEs. One is by Eben Alexander, a neurosurgeon whose brain was attacked by a rare bacterial meningitis. It plunged him into a weeklong coma during which he had an extraordinary NDE involving an encounter with the deity. Alexander says the NDE had to be real because his brain was severely incapacitated by the meningitis and far from having sufficient capacity to produce such a vivid, elaborate experience. (His Daily Beast article based on the book now tallies 115,000 likes.)

David Attenborough has grown older but here in the latest PBS collects many of the discoveries of the past 50yrs together, always fun to watch are the Chimpanzee's feasting on the hard nuts cracking with large branches or rock hammers , a skill that takes them 10yrs to learn...start in 41:20 in , they're quite good at it.
video.pbs.org

These skills are also tribe related , it finishes up from there at the end with an amazing cascading regress to the origins of life 4bil yrs ago, now that we know the shared DNA traces all the way back . Anyone that would think this isn't insurrmountable evidence of Common Descent is simply foolish, or pretending and lack imagination. A little combo of both ,feigned ignorance or ignorance is usally always supplemented with heightened states of denial .

You know what they say, "Ignorance" of the law is no excuse!

;o)

“It is better to have your head in the clouds, and know where you are... than to breathe the clearer atmosphere below them and think that you are in paradise.”
