Hi tom good to hear from you. actually, this thread is convenient and fun. Bean is in hiding. Vanni's either sworn off SI again or really in jail. I see your posts on occasion. I won't admit to admirers myself. You have at least one that I know of personally. Did you catch the Motorola announcement today? They threw a big "in your face" at the naysayers, the market, and every negative analyst out there. New fab west of Richmond VA has been on hold since '95. It is GO now but: up from a 1.5 billion $ to 3.0 billion facility. 300 mm wafers. implying state-of-the-art all around. What effect this has on the market short term I don't fathom. Longer term it is best news for semi-equip stocks in ages. Serious semi manufacturers have to make the big upgrades to stay in the game. Buying some AMAT. Hope all is well with you. Leo
