AAB.TO,

I submitted a shareholder proposal to liquidate the company (with illiquid holdings distributed in-kind to shareholders). The company has not responded or even acknowledged receipt of the proposal.

Judging by the latest presentation on the company website, they seem oblivious of shareholder discontent. On the bright side, they do appear to be marketing the company to drum up interest. They also have potential IPOs coming up and may have been able to liquidate their NSR holding for a nice profit (a large buyer came in and there has been reasonable volume at decent price levels if Aberdeen chose to sell).

Since I no longer trust management, I continue to look for exit points, but would look for something closer to NAV, hoping some kind of positive announcement will propel the stock higher. And I will pocket another dividend while I wait.
