A fresh and new down trend normally lasts several weeks with some burps to the upside which are brief.

Technically I can clearly see the trend reversals and be accurate within a day of a trend reversal minus news, airplanes flying into buildings…the news unknown happenings.

You more than likely already see the downside number where the Bull will once again begin.

Soooo…….give up that S&P number if you have it or do it when you see it!

We seem to be following an old script, more or less. I don't know if the full pattern will repeat

(and plain horse-sense says it's doubtful) ....... but if it does, keep one beady eye on an approx. 1460 target. Most likely, this strong a market will turn up before that. Maybe 1475. We'll see.

One thing for sure ..... a big one month run up deserves some down time, or "breathe out" as Chief says.

Interesting point, maybe: today's decline brings us back to that white backbone line in my chart --- right on the nose. I expect we will go below it.
