I fear you are correct.

Because the assumptions are correct, even if they are assumptions. And the big one is the guys getting paid to do wrong are not to be stopped, until the host dies. Because if you stopped illegal wars, or perpetual war, and the sucking of the most giant tit in history, it could be turned around.

But that is optimism, and it is unfounded.
