Glen, your post contained interesting info about ability of low cost Pentium II to emulate modem to enable sub $1000 PCs with modems - something that competitors CPUs do not do. Gary, It appears INTC is always one step ahead of the competition. They also do a good job of PR:-) Glenn

Gary, How about this line in the post - the transition to Pentium II was going as fast as expected. ''The price cuts were supported by reductions in production costs,'' Bodes well for high margins, doesn't it? Barry
