Not true, of course -- but Rhee has pointed out, correctly, that defined benefit plans are a serious negative for school districts, in that they create a ridiculous draw on funds and compensate unproductive teachers inappropriately.

If anything, her position on this is reflective of an EXTREMELY THOUGHTFUL individual who totally comprehends the problem(s).

And yours reflects the comments of someone who hasn't the slightest idea what the problems are.

Meanwhile, what would YOU tell the parents in southeast D.C. who would prefer to send their kids to better schools but can't because they can't afford to move to a better neighborhood?
