I think that rhyme lacks poise and grace, And has little meaning for this place, The meter rings discordant, queer, Like a damsel with a moustached face. :) The simple message, very clear, Is "please be decent, always!" dear, No need for "he is this, she's that!" --- These are unpleasant to the ear! Whenever a poem's tone is fat, The poet, disguised, is a pack-rat, Long-winded phrases, from his store, He must retrieve --- retrieve to bore! J.S (Feb 2013) :)
