Dear Marden: I first learned of it in Smart Money magazine and then read more in their annual report I believe last year. Its been a long time now and I am sorry but cannot be more specific. You might go to their Web site and see what you can find. Basically, ERICY spent a great deal of time and money deciding where the world would be in 5 years and then have set about being there when the World arrives. ERICY spends much more on R & D than say MOT which is one reason they got a 2 yr jump technologically. However, I should warn you they do not look at just the next quarter but rather a much longer time span. Therefore, IMHO this is not a trading stock but a CORE holding. JDN
