Ron, I hate the name "Spam Patrol". It makes it sound like work. It isn't work. It is pleasure. Instead of, while reading your favorite stock board, saying "Yuck! Spam. A spamming low life. I'm gonna report this putz.", you get to say "Yuck! Spam. I'm gonna click on button (conveniently displayed on the account's profile) that deletes every post this low life has made in the past two days, that immediately terminates his SI account, and that banishes him from our site". It is a superpower. You are a Deputy for SI. That is to say, SI deputizes your account. Now, when you see that annoying spam, you click a button conveniently displayed on that account profile, and this button obliterates the account and all posts the account has made. It is actually very rewarding. And think of all the Kittens your are saving.
